Youth Mountain Biking
Snowmass Village is topographically blessed with great terrain and epic views of the nation's most scenic wilderness, making our parks and trail system a premier destination for trail-loving tourists, and a tremendous amenity for local residents.
Snowmass Village is home to more than 34.5 miles of world class hiking, biking, and equestrian trails. Plus, 8 miles of paved and gravel surfaced commuter trails serve pedestrian traffic linking neighborhoods, bus stops, recreational amenities, and economic hubs.
Summer 2017 Mountain Bike Programming
The Snowmass Village Parks, Recreation and Trails department has teamed up with Roaring Fork Cycling Club to offer youth mountain bike programming all summer long. The goal of these camps is to empower youth through the sport of cycling. Each camp will cover technical mountain bike skills in a fun, friendly and safe environment. Clinics will focus on technical skills, trail riding, trail etiquette, bike maintenance, and trail map navigation.
Kids should bring their own bikes, helmets and safety gear. Downhill equipment is not necessary as we will be focused primarily on cross country trails. If you would like to participate but do not own your own equipment please email Roaring Fork Cycling at firstname.lastname@example.org
