Youth Basketball League - Half Gym

League Description

The program focuses on teaching young boys & girls (1st & 2nd grade) fundamental basketball skills including proper dribbling, passing, and shooting techniques as well as basic rebounding and defensive positioning. The course emphasizes fun, team-oriented and goal-oriented drills and skills training finishing off with scrimmages putting the skills training to work in an informal game setting. This program will take place in the Snowmass Village Recreation Center gymnasium, running for 8 weeks from September 27th to November 17th. Kids will receive equal play in games and practices, and a souvenir water bottle.
