A World-Class Trails System
Fortunately, Snowmass Village is naturally blessed with the components of a world-class trails system: good terrain, good views, and good infrastructure. The Parks & Trails division with a seasonal maintenance crew manages 24 town trails--both paved and unpaved--for the safety and enjoyment of outdoor enthusiasts of all types and abilities.

Trails Planning
The Parks & Trails Division is also responsible for long-term planning efforts that ensure our trails system is sustainable, and accommodates the future needs of the community. The Upper Roaring Fork Valley Trails Plan, a project of Pitkin County Open Space & Trails, the City of Aspen, The Town of Snowmass Village, The U.S. Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, and Aspen Skiing Company is the valley's guiding document which details trail priorities and future projects developed with ample community input.
